Villa Shinta Dewi Ubud is located on the edge of a small village among green rice fields just north of Ubud. Lovers of Bali will definitely embrace this traditional and at the same time contemporary oasis in the cultural heart of the island.
Nestled in a beautiful tropical garden, attached to a small canyon, it offers peace, privacy and relaxing indoor and outdoor living in Bali style for up to 11 guests. Shinta Dewi has been tastefully decorated by the owners, who have opted for top quality furniture and finishes. The decor is inspired by the archipelago, with a wealth of natural materials made by the masters of Bali and a vibrant tropical garden with bougainvilleas, frangipani and heliconia.
The friendly staff consists of a chef and a team of butlers to cater for every wish of the guests, whether preparing sunset cocktails, a relaxed lunch or a candlelight barbecue, or organizing activities and excursions such as in-villa massages, batik lessons and river rafting. Guests also enjoy a twice-daily free shuttle service to Ubud where a range of restaurants, galleries, boutiques, spas and cultural attractions await them.
Shinta Dewi Ubud is normally booked as a four-bedroom villa, but for smaller groups there is a three-bedroom option where the bedroom next to the living room can be converted into a TV room / study.
LAYOUT
The exotic villa, with a total surface area of 414 m2 (and located on a large piece of land of 1460 m2), has two open and fan-cooled living areas with a large and cozy sitting area, a dining area for 8 people, a fully equipped open kitchen ( and extra service kitchen) and a guest toilet.
Next to the living room is an additional relaxation area with 32-inch TV and DVD player and shower room, which can be converted into an additional fourth bedroom. On the higher floor, an additional fan-cooled open living room and television room has been created with comfortable lounge sofas, a 50-inch TV and DVD player and a bar. To make everything complete, the villa also has its own gym and spa area.
The entire front of the living room opens onto the large and wide terrace with a swimming pool of 16×6 meters, where sun loungers are ready for sunbathing. For shade, the balé at the pool offers space for 4 people. A barbecue terrace in the tropical garden with a large dining table for 8 people and a wide lawn make the villa ideal for a family or group of friends.
The large and air-conditioned master suite has a king-size bed (with a trundle bed), a sofa, a desk, a dressing room and a ceiling fan. The spacious and bright bathroom has double sinks, a shower cabin and a bathtub at the window.
The other two bedrooms are on the upper level of the villa and open onto a wooden veranda overlooking the garden. In each room you have the choice of a king-size bed or two separate beds with a trundle bed for extra guests.
The extra garden suite (with a king-size bed or 2 twin beds) can also be arranged as a media room / study. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms have double sinks and a large shower cubicle.
All four bedrooms have both air conditioning and ceiling fans and are equipped with a 32-inch TV, DVD player and mini fridge.
